Our venue

The Wallasey Masonic Hall was constructed and opened in 1911 as a purpose built Masonic Hall.  It was designed by JWB Harding FSA Architect who had a particular forte in the design of cinemas, a new building type in the Edwardian period which were then replacing the music halls.  That Edwardian grandeur can be seen in the interiors of the principal rooms of Wallasey Masonic Hall.

The Hall was extended in 1937 to provide a second Masonic Temple and smaller dining room.  This extension was designed by William P Horsburgh Architect FRIBA in a contrasting and more austere style.

The Hall can offer top class conference and meeting facilities for a wide range of events.  It is licensed for Marriage and Civil Partnerships.  The facilities are flexible enough to accommodate your individual requirements for your own special occasion.

The licensed bar has a good selection of beers, wines and spirits.

Hall Hire

Wallasey Masonic Hall is the perfect venue to hire on the Wirral for any occasion, such as wedding receptions, engagement and birthday parties, christenings, funerals and other social occasions. We have two function suites – the larger Corinthian Suite which can seat 100 diners, banquet style, and the smaller Doric Suite which can accommodate 40 diners.

These suites are flexible enough to be adapted to accommodate whatever requirements you have for your special occasion. In addition the Hall has two smaller committee rooms. The Hall has a fully stocked, and competitively priced, licensed bar with a good selection of wines and real ale, making it the perfect option for venue hire in Wirral.

The accommodation has full disabled facilities with wheelchair access.  Wheelchairs are available on site if required.   The Hall has the benefit of a defibrillator with fully trained staff. Externally the Hall has a large self contained car park with full CCTV recorded coverage.

Our catering services are provided by Allen Boden, a qualified chef with many years of experience in fine dining.  The AEB Caterers team can do anything from buffets to banquets, themed menus and so much more!
